Anti-plagiarism
The journal Causality (caui3) requires that all submitted manuscripts be strictly unpublished and original. Papers that have been previously published in other print or digital media, or those that are currently under review or evaluation by other journals or conference proceedings, will not be accepted.
The editorial team ensures compliance with the best practices for publication established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Similarity Detection Protocol and Technological Tools
All articles submitted to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform undergo a similarity check using specialized Turnitin software during the preliminary review phase.
Acceptable Threshold of Similarity: A general maximum threshold of 12% textual overlap with other sources is established.
Qualitative Criteria: Permitted matches apply exclusively to:
- Formal names of international technical standards (e.g., ASME, IEEE, NEC, ISO).
- Mathematical formulas, equations of state, or standardized algorithmic expressions.
